– not very prone to stress

– very fertile

German Landrace

– lean “meat pig”

– tall, elongated body

– fast growing

Pietrain

– black and white pied or mottled pig

– second-largest breed of pigs in Europe

– medium frame, best  muscles

(high percentage of fatless meat with lowest fat cover)

– good vitality, medium fertility and breeding performance,

correct body structure as well as the ability to withstand stress
